Not knowing your life purpose is like being on a ship with no rudder. You are going to end up just any old place instead of where you want to go. The key to knowing your true life purpose is to follow your heart and do what you really love to do. It’s that easy. When you get up in the morning with this truth, you will find that everything changes because you are doing what you were put here to do in the first place. How?
By looking inside yourself. Some of you already know what your passion is, but can still find it hard to step out of the box. Now is the time to listen to your inner voice. You need to put your negative thoughts about yourself in the trash and start having a more positive outlook about who you are and what you can achieve.
Never live someone else’s dream. When you know what your purpose in life is you must never let anyone “steal” it with their opinions. Many times we can get caught up in what other people think and this can stop us from doing what we truly want to do. I know because I used to be very conscious about what other people would be thinking about me and what I was doing or saying. So, because of this fear I ended up not living as the real me.
Finding your life purpose will lead to you having a vision. This vision will be the steps you take to complete and live your life purpose. Your vision will keep you motivated so that you can keep pressing and stepping out of the box so that you can live the life you have always wanted. Take your vision and make short-term goals from it so that you can stay on track.
Maybe you feel that you cannot making any money doing what you truly love to do. There is no need to just give up on this dream! What you need to do is to slowly downsize on your current job while you work on making your life purpose into your full time job. Never lose sight of the end goal, just keep working towards living out your life purpose a little more each day. Be ambitious and never give up.
Finding your life purpose can truly change your life overnight as long as you stay committed into taking that first step – making the decision to follow your dreams.
